Booking a paragliding flight in Marrakech is easy: there are international platforms and local clubs. Each option has pros and cons, and what is best for one traveller is not necessarily best for another.
Here we compare them so you can make the right choice.
Platforms: advantages
A familiar interface, reviews from other travellers, payment in your currency and their own customer service. It is also practical to have all the activities of your trip in one place and in one app.
For last-minute bookings from your phone they are a quick solution too.
Platforms: disadvantages
A higher price because of the commission, indirect contact with the operator and date changes that go through the platform's system.
Sometimes you only find out shortly before the flight who your pilot is and exactly where the meeting point is.
Local club: advantages
A price without commission, direct contact with the pilot, quick answers on WhatsApp and more flexibility to adapt the date and time to the day's conditions.
At parapente.ma you can also change the date for free if the weather is not right or your plans change, and some flights include photos and video.
Local club: disadvantages
You have to find and check the operator yourself. That is why it is important to look at their reviews, their experience and their insurance.
A serious club will gladly show you this and answer your questions before you pay.
Quick comparison
Price: better with the local club. Everything in one app: better with the platform. Flexibility with the weather: better with the local club. Contact with the pilot: better with the local club. Reviews: available with both, and on Google Maps too.
Our recommendation
Use platforms to discover and compare and Google to read reviews. Then book with the local club.
Our club has been flying in Morocco since 2014, with pilots who have more than 10 years of experience and civil liability insurance.
Book with the club
Fly with an experienced local club, at the club price and with no intermediary.
Meet the clubConclusion: Platforms to compare, the local club to book: that way you get trust and the best price.
