Fly Team - Paragliding Association
Paragliding, sport and development
Fly Team is a sports association dedicated to paragliding: it promotes the culture of the sport, supports its practitioners and encourages beginners to discover it in an organised and safe way.
Who we are
The association puts the natural environment at the service of sports development, sports tourism and local development. It aims to showcase the natural and tourist potential of Benslimane province and to build bridges of cooperation with local and national institutions and stakeholders.
President of the association
Abdelaziz Tijani
Experienced paraglider pilot, national referee in paragliding accuracy landing competitions, researcher in sports development and community activist. Born on 23 March 1985.
Activities
- Training and support for practitioners, with an organised and safe introduction for beginners.
- Promotional activities: open days, sports demonstrations and outreach to young people and the general public.
- Sports tourism: presenting the flying sites and natural heritage of Benslimane province and other areas of Morocco.
- Partnerships with institutions, local councils, associations and sports bodies.
Oued El Malleh Dam
The Oued El Malleh Dam, in Benslimane province, is the association's main activity area: a natural setting that can combine sport, leisure and eco-tourism.
